Fast called off

thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Vikalanga Samyuktha Samara Samithi called off its 23-day-old fast before the Secretariat here on Wednesday.

The Samithi said that the fast was called off since Social Welfare Minister P.K. Sreemathy had conceded seven of its demands.
