HYDERABAD: Top-seeded Aditya Madkekar of Maharashtra scored a 6-3, 6-3 win over N. Kiran Kumar of Karnataka to enter the semifinal of the all-India ranking tennis tournament, organised by the Cosmopolitan Club, in Bhimavaram on Wednesday, according to information received here.

In another match, second-seeded Vinod Sridhar (TN) disposed off lucky loser Vikram Aditya Menon 6-1, 6-2.

Boxing team

World championship silver medallist N. Usha along with last year's National championship gold medallists Ch. Kanaka Durga, N. Swapna Priya and bronze medallist V. Mahalakshmi are in the Andhra Pradesh team for the seventh National women's boxing championship to be held in Visakhapatnam from December 17 to 21.

Coaching camps

The Andhra Pradesh Volleyball Association (APVA) will conduct coaching camps for men at the Port Trust Stadium, Visakhapatnam, and for women at the Lal Bahadur Stadium, Hyderabad, from December 14 to 22. The State squads for the senior Nationals at Raipur, Chattisgarh, from December 25 to January 3 will be selected from these camps.

Men and women players listed below must report at their respective venues at 7 a.m. on the opening day of the camps.
