Call to boycott

KOCHI: The Committee to Abolish the Death Penalty has called for total boycott of the December 20 valedictory of the golden jubilee of State formation in Thrissur. This is in protest against the Government's inaction on the committee's plea to allow remission to prisoners and to release deserving life convicts, K. KCBC meeting ends

KOCHI: The two-day meeting of the Kerala Catholic Bishops' Council ended at the Pastoral Orientation Centre on Wednesday. A release from Fr. Zacharias Paranilam, Deputy Secretary, KCBC, claimed here that there were attempts to tarnish the image of churches and their services. — Staff Reporter
