He supervised pathway-laying work in park

CHENNAI : Chennai Mayor M. Subramanian on Wednesday inspected Jeeva Park and Arulambal Street in T. Nagar.

At the park, he supervised the pathway-laying work and work taken up to beautify the children's play area. The park was being beautified at a total cost of Rs.12 lakh, the Mayor said. New lawns were being laid and colourful benches also placed.

Later, following complaints of bad road and water logging on Arulambal Street, he visited the area and told residents that the repair work would be completed in 15 days.
