Special lectures on Indian economy

CHENNAI: Six special lectures by Indian and foreign academics on topics covering the capital market, banking, the macroeconomy and competition will be organised from 5 p.m. from December 18 to 20 at Hotel Aruna as part of SAMES06, the meeting of the South and South East Asia Econometric Society being hosted by the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Chennai. Lectures and presentation of academic papers on a wide range of themes will be organised in the earlier part of the day during the three days at the IFMR campus.
