NEW DELHI: In a shocking decision, the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has restricted assistant coach Rajeev Vinayak's role to only home matches. Delhi is to play away matches against Saurashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Vinayak has been assisting the team for three months now, having performed the duty at the preparatory camp ahead of the season apart from the Ranji Trophy matches at home against Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Baroda. Vinayak, who played 50 first class matches in a career spanning a decade beginning 1986, would continue to assist chief coach Chetan Chauhan in the match against Karnataka to be played at the Ferozeshah Kotla here from December 17 to 20. His further association with the Delhi team now depends on the DDCA President, Arun Jaitley. "I am looking into it," said Mr. Jaitley. Special Correspondent
