Coimbatore: The verification of draft photo electoral rolls will take place in six Assembly segments - Thondamuthur, Singanallur, Coimbatore West, Coimbatore East and Perur. The drive will be held till December 24. It will be held in the morning and evening on working days and throughout the day on holidays. A photographer with a digital camera will accompany the staff on verification duty to photograph voters. Voters can also hand over passport size photographs.
Identity proof
The voters are requested to co-operate with the staff by providing necessary papers for the verification of identity. The voters could verify the data pertaining to their families and point out corrections if required. The voters should affix their signatures on the verification sheet to endorse the completion of verification. In case of photographs not being clear, the voters can seek replacement of the photographs by providing a fresh one.
Change of address
Those want to enrol their names in the rolls could submit form number six and those seeking change of address in the rolls could submit form number 8. The voters need not pay any fee for the above transactions.
