APCC criticises Nagam, KCR
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD:
The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Saturday derided the campaign against Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy by the TDP and the TRS leaders in wake of the surrender of his assigned land to the Government.
APCC secretary D. Nagender and APSRTC Chairman Gone Prakash Rao said the Opposition parties instead of appreciating the gesture of Dr. Reddy were trying to paint him as a land grabber and demanding his resignation and prosecution.
Mr. Rao ridiculed TRS president K. Chandrasekhara Rao's demand seeking Dr. Reddy resignation. He said the TRS leader, who once alleged that costly lands in the State Capital and other areas had been illegally occupied, was now backing the same persons. Mr. Nagender said TD leader N. Janardhan Reddy was levelling baseless allegations against Dr. Reddy.
