Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala students on cloud nine

STAR-STRUCK: `Pellaina Kottalo' cinema hero V Jagapathi Babu reaches out to students at Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala in Vijayawada on Saturday.

VIJAYAWADA: Students of Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College and Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology had a gala time on Saturday interacting with film star Jagapathi Babu, who came along with the film crew of `Pellaina Kothalo' for a series of interactive sessions. Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala wore a festive look with students in full strength waiting with curiosity to have a glimpse at the popular Tollywood star.

At his best

As the cavalcade of cars carrying Mr. Jagapathi Babu, actress Hema, director Mandan and executive producer Jagan and celebrity anchor Shilpa Chakravarthy arrived, the girls went into raptures. Mr. Jagapathi Babu was at his quintessential best while interacting with the students, eliciting their opinion on the film, which was based on relationship between husband and wife.

"In the modern world, both man and woman are equals. There may be clash of egos but that must not lead to separation. One should understand the other and should learn the art of compromise for the welfare of the children," said Mr. Jagapathi Babu to the students. For K. Lavanya, Sindhu, Sahiti, Ashiya Aktar and many others, it was a day to remember as they had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Babu, Ms. Hema and Mr. Madan with their volley of questions. Anchor Shilpa Chakravarthy kept the students busy with her rapid-fire compeering. The crew later proceeded to Siddhartha Engineering College and Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology, where a boisterous welcome awaited the crew.
