VIJAYAWADA: Deep-frying of non-vegetarian food items produce a number of cancer causing agents and these agents after entering into the body cause gastric ulceration, gastritis leading to cancer, according to B. Nagarajan, recipient of Dr. B.C.Roy award and head of the department of tumour biochemistry, Cancer Institute, Chennai.' said while delivering keynote address at Devineni Venkataramana and Dr. Hima Sekhar MIC College of Technology here on Saturday. Parthasarathy from S.V. University, K. Sree Rama Rao from NRI Medical College, Mullainathan, of Madras Universityand others took part in the seminar.
