Cash award for medal winners

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Government on Saturday announced cash prizes of Rs.20 lakh, Rs.15 lakh and Rs.10 lakh respectively to Sasikiran Krishnan, Anju George and Saurav Ghosal for their performance at the Asian Games at Doha. The prizes, including the one already announced for Santhi will be given away by Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi at the Secretariat on December 18, according to an official press release.
