A `dream come true'

Special Correspondent

Johannesburg: S. Sreesanth was running hot for India at the Wanderers on Saturday.

The paceman, who has undergone coaching at Chennai's MRF Pace Foundation, said, "It was a dream come true for me. There are several more dreams to be realised."

He said he had become a little too excited during his spell but, the coach and the captain, advised him during lunch to concentrate on line and length.

The Indian paceman also revealed how a meeting with his childhood idol Allan Donald helped him. "I was actually a leg-spinner in the beginning, I became a paceman, inspired by Donald.

"I approached him here and he asked me to stick to the basics. Put the ball in the right areas," said Sreesanth.
