Warning to political parties

CPI general secretary A.B. Bardhan has warned the political parties to desist from asking CPI leaders not to enter the old city. Quoting a letter he received a couple of days ago asking him not to enter the Old City, he said, "Let the parties do their bit and we will do ours for the cause of the people. But it will not be possible for the parties to prevent us from entering any place in the country," he said, adding the response from the people to his meeting was amply showing the "public anger" and frustration against those leading them.
