IOC outlet to offer

24-hour service

Thiruvananthapuram: The Supplyco Petrol and diesel outlets of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will operate round-the-clock. The Supplyco fuel depot opposite to the Accountant General's office in Thiruvananthapuram and the outlet on the M.G. Road in Kochi will be among those to offer 24-hour service initially. The Supplyco operates 11 petrol and diesel outlets in the State. — Staff Reporter

Youth suffers burns

Thiruvananthapuram: A 30-year-old youth suffered severe burns after the engine of the motorbike he was riding caught fire near Vijaya Mohini Mills in Poojappura police station limits on Saturday evening. The injured youth was identified as Anil Nath. The cause of the "sudden fire and explosion" was yet to be determined, a police official said. — Staff Reporter
