THRISSUR: The Kerala Government has no plan to file a review petition in the Supreme Court against its verdict acquitting the accused in the Jayakrishnan murder case. Replying to a question posed by mediapersons here on Sunday, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that such a move was not under consideration. He said the Government would take steps to check political murders in the State. "In the wake of the law and order problems in Thrissur, the Collector has been directed to convene all-party meetings to prevent murder cases involving political activists. The police have been directed to seriously tackle the issue.
