Easy for Vinayak Friends

Vinayak Friends scored a 139-run win over Om XI in the Jai Bhagawathi Cup floodlit cricket tournament at the QQSUDA Stadium here.

The scores: Vinayak Friends 270 for seven (Rajender Darak 65, Manoj Soni 62, Navin Sanghi 57) bt Om XI 131 (Nirmish Agarwal 43, Shyam Goel four for 34).

Nine-wkt. win for CMR

CMR College recorded a nine-wicket win over SSIT in the CMR Champions Cup cricket tournament in Medchal, near here.

The scores: MJIT 125 for five bt Intal 93 for five; NMR College 87 for seven lost to BSIT 88 for five; SSIT 75 for five lost to CMR College 76 for one; MREC 155 for four bt JBIT 97.

Satyam scores win

Satyam notched up a 66-run win over Microsoft in the final of the CII Andhra Pradesh Cup cricket tournament here. Pradeep Dhobale, vice-chairman of CII (AP), gave away the man of the final trophy to Suresh for top scoring with 61.

Kamesh of Microsoft was declared `best bowler' and Suresh `best batsman'.

The scores: Satyam 185 (Suresh 61) bt Miscrosoft 119.

Infosys recorded three wins in the league phase of the second JDA Corporate Olympiad volleyball tournament here.
