Haroon Habib

DHAKA: One of the two Bangladeshi prisoners, who was languishing in the notorious Guantanamo prison in Cuba, was flown back home on Sunday. U.S. authorities handed over Mubarak Hussain bin Abul Hashem (32), to the Bangladesh police after the he spent five years in the detention centre. He was flown in by a special flight of an U.S. Air Force. The law enforcers took Mubarak to the airport police station but refused to say whether he had been arrested. Mubarak, son of an imam at the Graphic Arts Institute Mosque, was not allowed to talk to the media or with his family members.
