NEW DELHI: Those looking to make a jump to the working world from college now have more options available. And in an attempt to bridge this gap, the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) has started a placement cell for students. The cell is part of DUSU's "job for all scheme". "Students can now email their resumes to an address we've created. Or they can come and submit it in person at the DUSU office,'' says DUSU president Amrita Dhawan. While there is a placement cell set up by the University, DUSU office-bearers claim that it is functioning poorly. In a bid to improve the "official'' cell, DUSU hopes that the new placement cell will make a difference. Determined to start on the right foot, DUSU also managed a walk-in interview with an information technology company at Khalsa College on Monday. As many as 100 students were interviewed, of whom 10 have been selected. Those looking to take advantage of this chance that DUSU is providing can email their resumes to the website rozgar.dusu@gmail.com.
