Bangkok: India's Jeev Milkha Singh dream season, which saw him claim four titles, came to a fruitful end when he won three awards at the Asian Tour's UBS Awards Gala here on Sunday night. Jeev was voted the `Players' Player of the Year' and also won the inaugural `UBS Special Achievement Award' and was feted by his peers. These were in addition to the prestigious `UBS Order of Merit' title, which he claimed for the first time in his career. Jeev's stellar season on the Asian Tour saw him win the Volvo China Open and register five other top-10s for a record haul of $591,884 from 14 starts. "It's been a dream year for me. To receive the recognition from my fellow competitors, it's a great honour," Jeev said. — PTI
