Vijaykumar reigns

BANGALORE: C. Vijaykumar of Team TVS bagged two titles in the MRF National Supercross championship Round Five, held at Kolhapur recently, to win the overall title. Vijaykumar was also declared winner of the National Championship with a tally of 174 points after the five rounds. The final round, scheduled to be held at Bangalore in the last week of December, stands cancelled.

The last two rounds of the championship saw the withdrawal of Team Yamaha. Some independent riders, including Denmark's Martin Pederson, participated with bikes manufactured by Yamaha.

Indian Experts Foreign Open: Moto 1 (Gp. A upto 250cc): 1. C. Vijaykumar (TVS), 2. Martin Pederson (Ind), 3. Eeshan Lokhande (Ind). Moto 2: 1. Karan Kadam (TVS), 2. C. Vijaykumar, 3. Martin Pederson.

Indian Experts (Gp. B 80cc to 150cc): 1. C. Vijaykumar, 2. Syed Zubair (TVS), 3. C.D Jinan (TVS).

Indian Experts (Gp. B 110cc to 250cc): 1. H.K. Pradeep (TVS), 2. Syed Zubair, 3. Pramod Joshua (TVS).

Indian Novice (Gp. D 80cc to 160cc): 1. Pramod Joshua (TVS), 2. K.P. Aravind (TVS), 3. Pinkesh Thakkar (Ind).

Indian Experts Class V (Gp. D 80cc to110cc): 1. H.K. Pradeep (TVS), 2. C.D. Jinan (TVS), 3. Pramod Joshua (TVS).
