GUNTUR: The police on Monday busted a sex racket allegedly organised by the orphan children's home of Salvation Army, a non-governmental organisation, at Stuartpuram . On a complaint from parent of a 14-year-old girl residing there, the Stuartpuram police raided the home for children being run by the NGO and to their surprise found one room converted into a home theatre using large colour TV and audio system, where pornographic movies were being screened. The police recovered several compact discs recorded with pornographic pictures made in Japan and Germany and took into custody two sons of children's home warden Kreestu Dasu. When questioned, the inmates told the police that they were shown such movies and girls residing there were subjected to sexual harassment. Circle Inspector Police Joseph Rajkumar said that the warden's sons allegedly threatened two minor girls with severe consequences if they spoke out. The two girls were sent to hospital for medical examination. One of them was allegedly forced to terminate pregnancy. The village development committee of Stuartpuram helped father one of the victims to lodge a complaint with the police and handed over the accused to the Circle Inspector.
