Role of Poorvanchalis lauded

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ram Babu Sharma on Monday said people from Poorvanchal have contributed a lot towards Delhi's growth.

Speaking after appointing Shiv Ram Pandey as chairman of the party's Poorvanchal Cell, Mr. Sharma said people from Poorvanchal could not be wished away. "Their contributions in the field of education and various other areas department have been noteworthy."

Mr. Sharma also praised the Bhojpuri dialect describing it as a confluence of love and respect.

He said the people of Poorvanchal should get full credit for their tremendous contributions in various fields of activity.

Mahabal Mishra, MLA from Nasirpur, said people from Poorvanchal were eager to play a more important role in Delhi politics.
