New Delhi: The BJP on Monday appeared unwilling to absolve Railway Minister Lalu Prasad of corruption charges despite his acquittal by a CBI court, saying the Rashtriya Janata Dal chief and his wife ``remained guilty'' in the public eye. ``We would not like to comment on the judicial verdict, but we believe that in the public eye, Lalu Prasad and those named in the case remain guilty of misusing public money and their position,'' BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said. In support of his remarks, Mr. Naqvi cited the RJD's rout in the Bihar elections. PTI
