Endowment lecture: This year's John Mathai endowment lecture will be delivered by former supreme court judge K.T. Thomas at 11 a.m. on December 20. The lecture will be on `Parliament and Judiciary' and will be delivered at the Senate Chamber. Vice-Chancellor M. K. Ramachandran Nair will preside.

Book Festival: The national book festival being organised as part of the Suvarka keralam celebrations has been extended till December 20. A magic show by magician Gopinath Muthukad will be held as part of the valedictory function to be held on that day at the Senate Hall. The valedictory function will begin at 5.30 a.m. and the magic show, at 6.30 p.m.

B.Ed: The first semester B.Ed examination for students of the University's teacher education centre will be held on December 26, 27, 28, 29 and on December 30. The examinations will begin at 9.30 a.m.

NAAC: Colleges that give the self-evaluation report for NAAC accreditation before January 2007 should make arrangements for the NAAC inspection before March 2007, the University has directed.
