Job-oriented training

Pulsetone Industries will conduct a three-week full-time intensive job-oriented training programme in mobile phone software and hardware repairs, coin phones, landline phones and intercoms. Free hostel accommodation will be provided for outstation candidates and textbooks and tool kit will also be distributed. Blood donation camp

Lions Club of Bangalore, Kalyannagar, organised a blood donation camp on Sunday at St. Francis Xavier's Cathedral in Cleveland Town. Fr. John Solomon, parish priest of St. Francis Xavier's Cathedral, inaugurated the camp. Nearly 50 units of blood were collected, according to a press release.

Free eye camp

Car wash course

Canara Bank Self-Employment Training Institute for Rural Women will conduct a six-day residential free training course for women in "car washing" using power tools from January 6. Women, who have passed seventh standard and above and are in the age group of 18 to 35, can attend an interview on January 4 at 10 a.m. on the institute premises.

Free programme
