JNU students join strike

NEW DELHI: Joining the anti-reservation agitation, five students of JNU began their relay hunger strike here on Monday even as the condition of one senior resident doctor of the AIIMS deteriorated. The doctor was at work when he fell unconscious. The medico is now stable and he has reported back for duty. "He has been persuaded to call off his strike," RDA president Dr. Harsh said. Meanwhile, five students of DU will also begin a relay hunger strike starting Tuesday, RDA spokesman Anil Sharma informed.
