Student nurses' meet from tomorrow

KOLLAM: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will inaugurate the two-day 27th State conference of the Kerala Government Student Nurses Association here on December 21. The State-level youth festival of nursing students to be organised in connection with the conference will be inaugurated by vice-chairman of Asianet C.N. Sreekantan Nair.

At a press conference here on Tuesday, patron of the conference reception committee K. Thankappan and general secretary of the association R. Arun Krishnan said that national president of the Democratic Youth Federation of India K.N. Balagopal will inaugurate an education conference on December 22. In the evening, the conference rally will be held and a public meeting at the Chinnakada Rest House junction will be inaugurated by Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy.

Mr. Krishnan said that more than 1,500 delegates would be attending the conference.
