Karan triumphs

BANGALORE: Karan Virwani of the Embassy International Riding School guided Norfolking around the jumps to win the South India equestrian championship jumping normal junior event here on Tuesday. Shashank of ARPA astride Titan took the second place and Anant Raj Purohit on Victor from ASC Centre was placed third.

On Monday, Mariba Shetti of the Karnataka Mounted Police steered RE 05 to victory in the SIEC jumping normal medium event. Daffedar Govind Ram (Junglee Boy) of RTS Depot was second and Aditya Krishna from CEA (Chennai) riding Mylady was third.

Other results: SIEC dressage children II: 1. Nikita Singh/ Gold Quest (61st cavalry), 2. A. Sahney/ Butter (ECE), 3. Nikita Singh/ Mastana (61st Cavalry).
