ANANTAPUR: Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Cooperative Finance Corporation Premlal on Tuesday said that they were planning to set up an information technology training centre for Backward Class students near Hyderabad soon. The training centre was likely to come up beside the NH-9 between Patancheru and Sangareddy, about 12 km from BHEL. Mr Premlal told mediapersons here that the State Government had recently allocated 16 acres of land to the BC Corporation beside the NH 9 and the corporation was planning to set up a residential school on eight acres land and an IT training centre on the remaining land. The training centre was being planned so as to provide skills in all modern vocations to the BC students and youth.
Funds for schemes
Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy had sanctioned Rs. 10 crores to the corporation recently to clear its dues to the National Backward Classes Finance Development Corporation and the same amount would be rescheduled to the BC Corporation again. It would be utilised for giving education loans, for micro finance and for the `Swarnima' schemes of the corporation.
