Staff Correspondent
DHARWAD: Young journalists should uphold old values and at the same time select new paths to set new trends, veteran journalist and TSR Award-winner Surendra Dani said here on Tuesday. Mr. Dani was interacting with journalism students and journalists on "Patrikodyama: andu, indu, mundu" organised as part of the "alumni meet" of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Karnatak University. The journalism students should inculcate the values embedded in the age-old journalism and take the help of technology to give quality news to readers, he said. N.R. Vishukumar, Director of Information Department, regretted the lack of objective reporting in the wake of competition. Young journalists had a great responsibility in this regard.
