LUCKNOW: The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday directed the Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow university to file an action plan to restore academic activities in the campus. Hearing a PIL seeking directions to restore academic activities in the university and purge the institution of the students with criminal background, the Bench comprising Justice Pradeep Kant and Justice Ajai Kumar Singh also posted the matter for further hearing to December 21. Earlier, the university and the district authorities filed a compliance report in the court, stating therein that its directions for getting the hostels vacated by December 17 had been implemented.
