NEW DELHI: For once, the ever-ready-with-a-comment Railway Minister Lalu Prasad was tongue-tied. And, it was not as if he was on unfamiliar ground. Being the centre of attraction wherever he goes is routine for him. Still the applause he got as he stepped into the Lok Sabha towards the close of Question Hour on Tuesday after acquittal in the disproportionate assets case seemed to have caught him unawares. He walked down to his usual place in the front row quietly and all those who hoped he would taunt the Opposition which had directed its entire `tainted Ministers' campaign against him were in for a disappointment. The fuss over his entry forced Union Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh to put on hold his response to a question on mangoes. Mr. Ramesh, too, was caught unawares when the applause began as Mr. Prasad first stepped into the House. "I thought the applause was for the export of mangoes," he quipped.
