Video library owners plan march tomorrow

Staff Reporter

KOCHI: The Kerala Video Library Association will take out a march to the office of the City Police Commissioner on Friday in protest against raids on video rental outlets.

They plan to surrender the compact discs (CDs) in their possession to the police as a mark of protest.

The raids are being carried out with a hidden agenda to promote some marketing companies after halting the video rental business, Unni George, general secretary of the association, said at a press conference here on Wednesday.
