Novel way of punishment

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The Silver Jubliee Park Road has now become one of the best roads in Bangalore, thanks to the Ulsoor Gate and Silver Jubliee Park police stations who seem to have taken inspiration from "Lage Raho Munnabhai" to prevent the public from urinating on the footpath skirting the walls of the park. Now, it is free from stink and dirt. Well, relatively so.

There are three options for those found guilty — pay fine; get a bucket of water or clean the area; or catch your ears and do sit-ups. Other police stations in the city and Bangalore Mahanagara Palike can also do the same.
