Bangalore: Live demonstrations by craftspersons and sale of handicrafts will be held from December 22 to January 2 at Rajalakshmi Kalyana Mantapa, 46th Cross, 8th Block, Jayanagar. The exhibition and demos have been arranged by the Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation.

According to L. Shantakumari, Chairperson and Managing Director of the corporation, the Cauvery emporia spread across eight cities, including Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Secunderabad, earned the corporation a turnover of Rs. 31.5 crore during 2005-06 with a net profit of Rs. 1.27 crore.
