Assembly adjourned sine die

HYDERABAD: The brief ten-day winter session of the Assembly was adjourned sine die by Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy after a marathon sitting on Friday.

Ten Bills were passed by the House which met for more than 54 hours during which 96 speeches were made.

As many as 74 adjournment motions were tabled and disallowed.

The break-up of the party position is as follows: Congress 186, TDP 45, TRS 26, CPI-M nine, CPI six, MIM five, BJP two, Janata Party two, BSP one, Samajwadi Party one, Independents 11 and nominated one.
