Bangalore: The Directorate of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy has invited eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for recruitment to 63 posts of lecturer (ayurveda) on contract basis for the Government Ayurvedic Medical Colleges in Bangalore and Mysore, and Taranath Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Bellary. According to a press release here on Friday, candidates have to appear before the Selection Committee for recruitment of contract lecturers at the Directorate in Bangalore on Friday (December 29) at 10 a.m. Candidates must have completed degree in ayurveda with a postgraduate degree in the subject/allied subjects as prescribed by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, and included in the second schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. The lecturer posts are for Samhita Siddanta, Rachana Shareera, Kriya Shareera, Dravyagana, Rasashastra, Swastha Vritha, Prasoothi and Stree Roga, Koumara Brithya, Agada Tantra and Vidhi Vignana, Roganidhana or Rogavignana and Vikruthi Vignana, Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra and Shalakya Tantra. The release said that the appointment will be on a temporary basis to a particular institution for 11 months. Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs. 7,990 a month. Retired lecturers below 64 years may also attend the interview. Candidates must bring along with them their bio-data and two sets of attested copies of marks cards of SSLC, PU, BAMS, MD/MS, provisional degree certificates, registration certificate issued by the boards concerned, experience certificate, three recent passport-size photographs, caste/category/reservation certificate issued by a competent authority.
