University of Kerala

Distance education: The stipulation that distance education courses must have the approval of the National Council for Distance Education for them to be recognised by the University of Kerala applies only to distance education degrees of other universities. This stipulation does not apply to the regular degrees of other universities.

M.Sc. Nursing: Applications for the second semester M.Sc. Nursing examinations beginning January 17 can be submitted without fine till December 30, with a fine of Rs.50 till January 3 and with a fine of Rs.250 till January 5.

MBA examination: Applications for the first year MBA annual scheme IDE examinations beginning January 23 can be submitted without fine till January 6.

MDS examinations: Applications for the MDS part two examinations beginning on February 13 can be submitted without fine till January 5 and with a fine of Rs.50 till January 10. The last date for submitting the thesis is December 29.

Entrance examination: The entrance examination of the MBA course (2006) conducted by the Institute of Distance Education will be held at the SMV higher secondary school from 9 a.m. on January 21.

Results: The results of the first year BASLP examinations held in May have been published. Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till January 19.
