MADURAI: A two-day seminar was conducted at Thimmarasanayakannur in Theni district recently to highlight the importance of education. The Central Board of Workers Education and Embracing Hands, a public charitable trust supporting the homeless and abandoned children of HIV/AIDS parents, jointly organised the seminar. As many as 40 women in the age group of 18-35 years, who attended the seminar, took an oath against child labour and HIV/AIDS.
