It's betrayal of memory of Rajiv: Swamy
Special Correspondent
CHENNAI:
Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Saturday condemned Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's meeting with "the pro-Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE)" Members of Parliament from Sri Lanka in his office on Friday.
In a statement here, he described the meeting as a "capitulation to the LTTE, and a gross betrayal of the memory of Rajiv Gandhi."
The Prime Minister had undermined the international credibility of the Government's claim to fight terrorism and had a "zero tolerance" towards terrorist acts, Dr. Swamy said.
