PALAKKAD: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will arrive Palakkad on Sunday to attend various programmes in Pattambi, Ottapalam, Polpully and Palakkad town. He will begin his tour programme from Pattambi by laying foundation stone for the silver jubilee memorial building of the Pattambi Service Co-operative Bank at 11 a.m. At 12 noon he will lay the foundation stone for the Fish Market shopping complex of the Ottapalam Municipality. At 4 p.m. the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Kolluparambu rice godown at Polpully. At 5.30 p.m. he will inaugurate the training centre of Marutharoad Grama Panchayat. At 6 p.m. Mr. Achuthanandan is scheduled to inaugurate the industrial exhibition organised by District Industries Centre and the Small Scale Industries Association at Fort Maidan, Palakkad town.
