Arcon Octopals posts win

HARIPAD: Arcon Octopals (Thrissur) and United Cricket Club (Kannur) recorded wins in the K.K. Sreenivasan Memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the GBHSS ground here on Saturday.

Arcon Octopals defeated KDCA, Kottayam by six wickets, while United Cricket Club overcame Blue Star, Kundara by 13 runs.

The scores:

KDCA, Kottayam 128 in 24 overs lost to Arcon Octopals 130 for four in 20 overs (Arun Alex 50 no).

United Cricket Club, Kannur 162 for nine in 25 overs bt Blue Star, Kundara 149 in 23 overs (Vipin four for 14).
