KARIMNAGAR: The central working committee meeting of All-India Postal Employees Union Group-C being held in Karimnagar town from Friday has decided to go on nationwide indefinite strike from February 2007 seeking solution to their long pending demands. Union general secretary K. V. Sridharan said the meeting demanded the Centre to immediately release interim relief of 15 per cent of their basic pay subject to a minimum of Rs. 1,000, constitution of judicial commission for implementation of Sixth Pay Commission, lifting ban on recruitment, stop privatisation and other issues pertaining to staff welfare.
