`Delhi to be developed as sports city'

New Delhi: In view of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the Delhi Government will develop the national Capital into a sports city and promote activities among students to nurture their hidden talent for different games.

Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely made this announcement after inaugurating the 52nd National School Games at Chatrasaal Stadium here on Saturday.

He also lauded competitors, hailing from Delhi, who won medals at the recent Doha Asian Games. PTI
