Pension fund scheme grant

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Government has provided a grant of Rs.5 crore to the pensioners welfare fund scheme under which financial assistance is being given to pensioners for special medical care and surgery.

The allocation has been made due to increase in the number seeking assistance under the scheme, according to an official press release.
