Portuguese film festival

CHENNAI: Instituto of Camoes, Potuguese Cultural centre, New Delhi, and the Madras Film society are organising a Portuguese film festival from December 24 to 27 at the South Indian film Chamber theatre.

The films to be featured in the festival include `Who are You?', directed by Joao Botelho, which won an award at the Venice Film Festival in 2001; `Rending', directed by Raquel Freire; `Get a Life' directed by Joalo Canijo; s`The Miracle According to Salome' directed by Mario Barroso and `Black Shoes' directed by Joao Canijo. Manoel de Oliveira's `Going Home' and `Traffic' will also be screened.
