Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: As part of the efforts to meet the need for more aircraft parking stands at the Chennai airport, five Airbus 320 compatible aircraft parking stands, including two `taxi links', were inaugurated by Airports Authority of India Chairman K. Ramalingam, on Saturday. Work on 10 more bays with two `taxi links' is likely to be completed by early March. The new bays are meant to provide the much-needed night parking facility. The parking stands were being added at a cost of Rs.37 crore.
