`Colleges Talk AIDS Programme' concludes

Special Correspondent

KURNOOL: The `Colleges Talk AIDS Programme', which concluded recently, helped the organisers interact with 53,800 students and form 77 red ribbon clubs in colleges across the district. The programme was conducted in 96 colleges in the district with Silver Jubilee College as nodal institution. The programme was conducted through 182 nodal lecturers who were trained on the short-term course. Programme coordinator M.R.C. Mohan Rao said the interaction with the students helped them look into the problems of youth.

According to him, some of the girls raised the issue of right to know the HIV status of their life partner before marriage.
