World peace festival draws to a close

Staff Correspondent

Belgaum: Universal peace and harmony is what people across the world are looking for and it is for every individual to strive to realise the global objective, Rajyogini Dadi Hridaya Mohiniji, joint chief of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya has said.

She was addressing a gathering at the district stadium at the concluding ceremony of the ten-day "World Peace Festival-2006" here on Sunday. Lack of spiritualism had led to social and cultural deviations. Spiritual power in society existed only in a symbolic form, she said. She stressed the need for regular meditation.
