Telangana TDP leaders meet at Yadagirigutta

NALGONDA: Telugu Desam Party leaders belonging to Telangana met at the temple town of Yadagirigutta in Nalgonda district in the backdrop of the demand that the party have a re-look at its stand on the issue of Telangana.

Though the TDP leaders, including T. Devender Goud, claimed that they had come to pay obeisance to Lakshminarasimha Swamy to mark the first anniversary of the `Godavari Jala Sadhana Padayatra' from Pranahita to Chevella, the meeting raised many an eyebrow, coming in the wake of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti's resounding success in the recent Karimnagar Lok Sabha byelection.
